BAM! Box “Anniversary” Unboxing & Review – January 2017

bam box anniversary review

January 2017 marks the 1 year anniversary for BAM! Box… so what else would they do but release an “Anniversary” themed box! This box promised to be like the BAM Box’s greatest hits box featuring all of the most epic loot that we have received over the past year. There was a ton of hype generated around this box (myself included) because of the spoilers that were being leaked out. So… did the box live up to the hype?? Well check it out for yourself…

…so what did you think??? Well how about we take a closer look at everything…

BAM! Box Parody Pin

I got the zombie brass knuckles that were an item in one of the earliest BAM Boxes. I literally keep them on my desk right in front of me in case …you know …something’s going down or …like I need to hold some papers in place lol. You could have also got the Stranger Things hat pin or 1 of 2 limited edition Bam Box Anniversary pins. I’m not much of a pin collector but I do love the pins that have every month.

Signed and Numbered BAM Print

There were two different signed prints you could have received. I got the “Eenie, Meenie, Minie, Mo..” print by Christopher Uminga. He did the Joker print in one of the past boxes that was really awesome! You could have also received a print featuring Alien, Predator, The Terminator, & Rambo all mashed together in a fight scene. Since I’m a huge Walking Dead fan I’m glad I got this one.

Movie License Plate

There were 3 different license plates that could have been in the box. I got the best one: NRVOUS from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off!! There was also the Knight Rider plate as well as one from Anchorman 2. I’ve actually considered buying this plate in the past so I’m super excited to finally get one! This was definitely a hit with me.

80s Cartoon Animation Cel

To me, this is absolutely epic! An ACTUAL film cel that was used in the making of a cartoon I loved as a kid! I got Egon from the Real Ghostbusters cartoon but there were several different shows you could have got. Out of the ones they had listed, the only show I would have wanted more than this wound be a Captain N the Game Master cel because that was one of my all time favs. (not saying the Real Ghostbusters wasn’t …but I was a huge Nintendo fan).

Friday the 13th Jason Mask Signed by Ari Lehman

Every single mask is slightly different with custom “blood streaks” on each one. Ari Lehman did a hockey mask signing in an earlier BAM! Box right as they started to get popular so a ton of people missed out… finally they have one of their very own. I have my other mask hanging on the wall behind me in my videos and it’s one of my prized possessions! Now I need to rearrange the display so I can put both of them together… I’ve been wanting to add a horror section to my display anyways.

…and that was the BAM! Box “Anniversary” theme for January 2016. Personally I thought this was an AMAZING box! The Jason mask, the animation cel, and the Ferris Bueller plate are all epic items. Some of the variant items you could have received weren’t as good but I got lucky in my box. I say that BAM! Box definitely lived up to all the hype for sure!

February’s theme is going to be “The 90’s” and if it’s anything like their 80s box from last year it’s definitely going to be another winner! So far no spoilers have been leaked that I can find but I’ll try to put out an update as I find out more.
