Here’s another great Star Wars small kitchen appliance product review for your geeky kitchen! This time I have the Star Wars Stormtrooper Toaster from Pangea Brands. If you can’t tell… I’m a HUGE Star Wars fan so I am really loving this line of kitchenware. Naturally, I have a plain old regular toaster but come on let’s get real… having a Stormtrooper helmet for a toaster is way cooler! So let’s check this thing out…
The Star Wars Stormtrooper Toaster is a 2 slice cool-touch toaster that has adjustable browning, a quick stop cancel button, and extra large openings to fit larger type of bread such as bagels. Best of all, it toasts the Galactic Empire logo on your bread!
The toaster is nicely detailed and nearly life-sized. It’s not 100% true to life in the details but hey… come on… it’s a toaster. It’s ready to go out of the box and operates like any standard toaster. The lever to pop the toast down is on the back, along with the darkness selector which is aptly named “Light Side” & “Dark Side”.
So I tried it out… yep it definitely makes toast lol. The Galactic Empire logo is visible on the toast although not perfect. I imagine that would be difficult to get that perfectly branded look on bread every time. It’s possible that the image might become clearer the more you use it since this was the very first toast I had nothing to compare it to other than the picture on the box. It’s also possible that I had the dial set too dark but I wanted it cranked up because I thought it might show better that way.
Overall I think this toaster is awesome! I honestly don’t mind if the Empire logo doesn’t toast perfectly every time because the Dark Side still tastes the same either way. Plus… it just looks SO awesome sitting out on the counter!
Pangea Brands makes many other Star Wars themed small kitchen appliances like popcorn makers, immersion blenders, and waffle makers. In addition to this product, I have also been given an Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber Immersion Blender and Death Star Popcorn Maker to review as well so be sure to check those out too.
