Do you ever feel that maybe your kitchen just isn’t geeky enough? Why not correct that situation with some Star Wars themed small appliances from Pangea Brands! Today I am reviewing the Star Wars Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber Immersion Blender… check it out!
I’ve never used an immersion blender before so I really didn’t know what to expect when I received this. Obviously it blends stuff but I didn’t really know what made it different from the standard counter-top blenders. Well for starters, it’s compact and can be stored away in a drawer when not in use. It’s easy to pull out for a quick blend for things you normally wouldn’t want to dirty up in a full size blender (eggs, pancake mix, etc). And most importantly… it’s a freakin lightsaber!! It just looks cool and …yes I did have pretend battles with it in my kitchen lol.
So to try it out I decided to make a strawberry shake. I was going to opt for a healthier smoothie but I had the ice cream so what the heck ya know lol. I added ice cream, strawberries, and milk into a glass and let it sit for a quick minute to allow the ice cream to soften up a bit. The blender is very simple to operate… there’s literally one button on it to make it go and a dial at the top for the speed.
The Star Wars Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber Immersion Blender is very powerful and yet it didn’t fling everything up out of the glass so there was literally no mess. The blade end of the immersion blender fit easily inside a standard sized glass although it couldn’t get all the way to the bottom of this particular glass. It was no matter though because the powerful blending action pulled up everything from the bottom and mixed it up in no time. I didn’t time it but I would say that my shake was ready to go in less than 30 seconds.
Clean up was a breeze too! The blade portion separates from the electronics so that you don’t have to worry about water getting on anything that it shouldn’t. A quick rinse in some soapy water was all this needed to shine like new again. More importantly though was that I got to enjoy my shake right away! Let me tell you it tasted as amazing as it looks!

So far I’ve used my immersion blender every day since it has arrived… mostly making strawberry shakes but I also tried it on pancake batter which it blended way smoother than I can by hand. I’ve read that you can make up fresh salsa in a flash among it’s many uses and they say that if you use it to beat your eggs they will cook up really fluffy so I want to try that too! It sounds corny but now that I have an immersion blender I don’t know how I ever lived without one lol.
