The BAM Box “Watching” Unboxing & Review – October 2016

bam box review

The BAM Box has got to be one of the hottest geeky subscription boxes on the market today! I’ve been with them since the beginning and I can’t say that I’ve ever been disappointed. So if you’re unfamilliar with the BAM Box, well it’s a geeky subscription box that specializes in exclusive items & signed merchandise. Plus, random boxes get “1up Items” such as a variant item or bonus signed item! For October, like most other boxes, they went with a horror theme they called “Watching”. So I know you’re dying to see what’s inside the box so check out my video & get a cloer look at everything after…

…ok let’s get a closer look at those items…

BAM! Pin

There were 4 different pins this month. I got Sam from Trick R’ Treat but you could also have got Chuckie from Child’s Play or Jigsaw from Saw (and the 4th was a Jigsaw variant of the same design). I’m not big on pins but this design is awesome!

S-mart Name Tag

This is pretty awesome for as simple as it is. If you don’t get it, this is Ash’s name tag from the Evil Dead… or more to the point from Army of Darkness. (I don’t believe it was mentioned in any of the other movies). I’m a huge Evil Dead fan and will wear this name tag with pride… or sit it on a shelf with my other Ash related stuff lol.

Hellraiser-style Puzzle Cube

This is an awesome item for any Hellraiser fan out there. I haven’t seen any of the Hallraiser films since I was younger and I remember they scared the piss out of me. I really need to watch them again. The puzzle box is essentially a Rubik’s Cube but with the Hellraiser puzzle box design on it. I think it’s pretty clever and I will display it with my other horror collectibles.

Freddy & Jason BAM Print

You could have either got this print or one with Leatherface & Michael Myers that looked pretty similar. I’m glad I got this one as I like these 2 better than the others. Nightmare on Elm Street was my favorite slasher movie of my entire childhood and I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Freddy.

Signed Ghostface Photo

This photo is signed by Skeet Ulrich who played Billy Loomis in the original Scream movie. You could have also got a signed Linda Blair photo from the Exorcist. While I liked the movie Scream, I would have much rather got the Exorcist photo because it’s more of a classic in my book. I’m not complaining though lol.

Signed Kiss Comic with BAM Box Exclusive Cover

This comic was signed by the cover artist John Lucas and features an BAM Box exclusive cover. There was also a black & white variant cover you could have received… PLUS a select few (25 I think) received their comic signed by the band members of Kiss!

…and that was the BAM Box “Watching” theme for October 2016. I didn’t get any upgrades or bonuses this month but that was ok with me since everyone got 3 signed items in the box. I really like that they are offering more and more original items in their boxes as the months go on. I’m really excited for November’s “Adult Cartoon” themed box as it looks like we will be getting a Simpson’s item, Bob’s Burgers, & even Beavis & Butthead!
