Loot Crate “Dystopia” Unboxing & Review – June 2016

Loot Crate Review

Yes I’m back with another Loot Crate review! The theme for June 2016 was “Dystopia” which features some of the best “futuristic hell hole” franchises that one could possibly ask for. This has the possibility of being an epic box but I’ve learned never to get my hops up because that’s when you have a major let down. Loot Crate usually knocks it out of the park but I will admit they have been slipping a little lately. So let’s just crack this thing open and see what we got…

.

.

….alright now lets get a closer look at those items…

#LootPins Dystopia June 2016

I like the Fallout mini nuke design this month! The pin “unlocks” some Fallout Shelter ringtones and wallpapers for your phone but I haven’t checked them out at all.

Terminator 2 Metal Sign

I think this looks really cool, however, there is nothing to hang it with nor is there a stand to keep it upright. The only thing you can do is lean it up against something which is kinda a downer. I would have rather had something else for T2 but what can you do? lol

Bioshock Key Blank

It took me a minute to figure this thing out. At first I thought it was just a key shaped keychain or a prop replica… but no you can cut this into an actual key! It’s a very unique item and it will definitely make your key stand out over all of the others. I guess the only down side of this is that you have to find someone who will willingly cut a key that you didn’t purchase from them. (If they screw up they have no way to replace it so they may not want to risk it)

The Matrix Puzzle

Don’t get me wrong, I like puzzles …but I would have MUCH rather have got something else. The final size is 11×14 which isn’t very large and I don’t imagine it will take too long to complete. Unless you plan of preserving it forever, most people never touch the puzzle again.

Fallout Power Armor Dorbz

I don’t really care for Dorbz but I am a sucker for Fallout and this guy looks awesome! I cant decide weather or not to take him out of the box to display… we’ll see. I’m a little bummed that it wasn’t a Loot Crate Exclusive item too… 99% of the items Loot Crate ships out are exclusives but they must not have been able to have a Dorbz made.

Robocop T-Shirt

This is an awesome design which is actually the original movie poster artwork I believe. I’m a big fan of Robocop and I’m glad they stuck with the classic and not the remake… very wise choice!

Loot Crate Review

…and that was the Loot Crate “Dystopia” theme for June 2016. It wasn’t a bad box although they could have done better… overall I am satisfied with this box. Next month’s box is themed “Futuristic” and they say it will contain a model and a figure from one of the featured franchises.
