Loot Pets “VS” Unboxing & Review – March 2016

Loot Pets Review

Chewie always gets very excited when his Loot Pets arrives! Maybe he just knows what the box looks like but I’m thinking that it’s more likely that there’s a hint of dog treat smell on the box lol. Loot Pets mirrors the regular Loot Crate theme which was “VS” for the month of March 2016. So what do we know about this month? Well naturally the shirt inside will match the one from the regular Loot Crate. However, going forward they have announced that BOTH shirts will be in the Loot Pets box and will not match that in the other. Other than that, we can guess there will be Batman vs Superman inside as well as some Captain America Civil War as well. So check out my unboxing, starring Chewie, and I’ll meet up with you below…

…isn’t Chewie just adorable?? Alright let’s take a look at everything…

Loot Pets “VS” Dog Tag – AVP

This month’s dog tag exactly matches the Loot Pin from the regular Loot Crate box. Literally the only difference is the loop on the top instead of the pin on the back. It’s cool, although I think it’s a little busy for such a small charm.

Captain America Civil War Disposable Dog Bowl

This item, I believe, comes from Loot Crate listening to it’s subscribers. Maybe they had it planned all along but there were many people who suggested that items like this be in the box. I haven’t taken it out of the package but it looks like you can clip it on something to carry it around then it unfolds into a bowl when you need one. This will come in handy when hiking or camping …even a long car ride somewhere… where carrying a bulky dog bowl would not be the best idea.

Batman VS Superman Phunny Plush

I’m not entirely sure this is actually a “dog toy” since it’s branded a Phunny. Kidrobot makes these plushies and I’m guessing they just threw it in as a dog toy since dogs do play with stuffed toys. My gripe about it is that my dogs will probably destroy it within hours since they are big time chewers. I hope eventually Loot Pets will include a tougher type of chew toy other than what we have been getting.

Ruff ‘Em Ups Dog Treats

My dogs always love the treats in the box… what dog wouldn’t? These are all natural, made in the USA, fruity protein puffs and my dogs go absolutely bonkers for them!

Turduck’Nstein Treats

It appears to be a double treat month… again. Not that my dogs mind but I would still like more toys over treats… toys bring more value than something that will be gone in just a few days. However, these treats are pretty big, all natural, and made in the USA and …like any other treat… my dogs absolutely love them.

Star Trek Mirror Mirror Shirt

As I said before, this shirt matches the Loot Crate shirt this month. It’s a really nice design and the color looks great on Chewie!

Here he is, keeping watch over his backyard domain from the comfort and warmth of the house lol.

…and that was the Loot Pets “VS” themed box for March 2016. Overall I am a little disappointed that it was another double treat month. My dogs don’t mind but for $25/month I would really like more geeky toys and such since that’s really the whole point of the box. Either way, my dogs love it and I’m keeping the subscription going.
