This month’s Loot Pets theme was “Dead”… as in the Walking Dead and Deadpool. Naturally it matches the theme of the regular Loot Crate box because it seems their thing is to send out matching shirts for dogs and their owners. This is the third month of Loot Pets and I’m liking what I’ve seen so far although I will admit that they seem to be following a pretty predictable pattern. But anyways, check out my unboxing starring my dog Chewie and then we will meet below for the photos.
…alright let’s take a closer look at everything in the box…
Loot Pets “Dead” Tag
Like the Loot Crate Pin, Loot Pets has the dog tag. Each month the tag is made to the theme which is nice but unless you’re changing you dog’s tag all the time there is almost no need for all of these. This is definitely for the owners to collect because my dog could really care less about these lol.
Zom-Bone Survival Treats
Every month we get an all natural, made-in-the-USA dog treat. I believe that international subscribers get something different though maybe there are customs restrictions. My dogs go nuts for these treats …but then again they go nuts for any treats.
Night of the Living Chimichangas Dog Treats
Wait what? Two Dog Treats? Sure my dogs love treats but since this box is $25/month these treats are pretty expensive.
Walking Dead Walker Head Chew Toy
This toy is great! It really looks creepy when your dog walks up and spits it on you lap and a zombie is staring back at you. It’s plush though so it will not last very long in this house. In a matter of hours they tore the rope neck off and all loose tags. Any day now I’ll will walk in on a pile of stuffing that once was this walker head so …well theres not much value in that.
Deadpool Doggy Tee
I got the matching shirt in my Loot Crate this month. I like this shirt design but my dog also really doesn’t need a full wardrobe. If this is a permanent thing for the life of this box I’m not entirely sure I will stick with it.
…and that was the Loot Pets “Dead” box for February 2016. This month was a miss for me… there’s nothing wrong with the items in the box but it seemed pretty dull and repetitive. Double the treats just make them really expensive treats in my opinion and I would have much rather get some type of second chew toy. Hopefully they wont make a habit of this but my dogs are sure not complaining. If you would like to try Loot Pets for the puppy in your life, please use my affiliate link by clicking here.
