Comic Pop Box Unboxing & Review – January 2016

Comic Pop Box review

I wish I could take credit for finding this box but the honor goes to one of you. Occasionally someone will find a box and ask me to look into it… Comic Pop Box was one of those boxes. I checked them out… they look pretty legit so I ordered up a box. The best part about Comic Pop Box is that they ship your first box immediately after you order it. From their website it appears like they are an online retailer & they assemble the boxes from their inventory which is how you get the box so fast. So I’m sure you’re here to see some stuff so let’s get going…

….alright and now for the photos…

Marvel Collectors Keyring

It’s a blind bag with a random Marvel character keychain. I don’t really care for keychains that much but the Punisher is cool so I may put him out with my Mystery Minis where he will fit in.

Star Trek Shot Glass

Every time I get a new cool shot glass I am reminded that I don’t drink nearly enough lol. I used to actually use them but now I just sit them out to look at… this has a nice design of the Enterprise on one side and it has the Star Trek logo on the other.

Wonder Woman Comic

This issue #1 Wonder Woman comic is from October of 2014. I haven’t got around to reading it yet but by the looks of it she is taking on all of the Batman villains. I was never really a Wonder Woman fan but I will still read it.

Marvel Punisher Socks

These are licensed ankle socks with the Punisher logo on them that also say “Punisher” across the back. Simple, black, and awesome. I like that they are not wild and overstated so I will be keeping these for myself.

Bazinga Cup

I think everyone should have a Big Bang Theory “Bazinga” item in their lives. I really like the red on this cup… not that you can have Bazinga any other way but still… it looks nice. The built in straw pretty much means that the kids will claim this and I’ll never see it again.

Disney Mickey Mouse Dorbz

I never knew the Dorbz has Disney! Most of the Dorbz are pretty ‘meh’ in my opinion but this Mickey is perfect! Since Mickey is already essentially Dorbz shaped he doesn’t look all that distorted which is my main gripe about the product line. I love it and I have a whole bunch of Disney items elsewhere in the house from our past vacations so this will fit in great.

Ron Burgundy “Say Whhhhaaat?” T Shirt

I like the semi-classic nature of this shirt! I cant exactly call it retro because it’s not that old but who doesn’t like Ron Burgundy right? The first one was an instant classic and the second one …well it was ok too but the character himself is what I like most.

…and that was the Comic Pop Box for January 2016. I’m not 100% sure if all the boxes are the same for everyone each month or if there is an assortment. As they gain popularity, more unboxings will show up for a comparison. February’s theme is the Walking Dead and runs about $30/month shipped. If you would like to try them out for yourself, you can visit their website by clicking here.

Be sure to check out my other unboxings, and follow me on social media for the latest geeky subscription box reviews!
