Loot Pets “Invasion” Unboxing & Review – January 2016

Loot Pets Review

Hey what’s up? It’s time for Chewie and I to review another Loot Pets box! January’s theme is “Invasion” of course because it mirrors the regular Loot Crate theme. If you haven’t heard yet, Loot Pets is a geeky subscription box for your pet (mostly dogs) made by Loot Crate. A subscription runs $25/month and features exclusive content that you cant find anywhere else! So what was in the box? Check out my unboxing with my dog Chewie…

…alright I’ll show you a closer look at the stuff but it’s just not the same as watching the video with Chewie lol…

Loot Pets Tag

Much like the Lootpins and the Loot Anime charm, Loot Pets has it’s own accessory for each month. (Or so it seems because they had a tag last month too) It also seems like they will be theme related since this is like a dog bone UFO tag. I like them although I wont be loading them all on my dog every month that would get excessive. My only wish is that they were engravable and worked with those machines they have in most pet stores so I could put Chewie’s contact info on it.

Loot Pets Invasion of the Sweet Potato Crisps!

Snacks look like they will be another monthly item. It seems like Loot Pets has go something worked out to have custom made treats each month. This one is a bag of sweet potato crisps which are made in the USA and from the simple list of ingredients, I don’t see why you couldn’t have a bite with your dog. I haven’t tried one but there doesn’t seem to be any difference from people food so I like that.

Battlestar Galactica Flying Disc

I want to use the term “Frisbee” but that is an actual brand name and not a description of the item. So yes it is a rubbery flying disc with the BSG logo printed on it. Chewie doesn’t play but my other dog, Mowgli, loves to! Unfortunately it seems like he tore this to shreds after only a few days… I think he had a tough time picking it up or something but I had to throw it out 🙁

Space Invaders Leash

Both of my dogs already have a leash but they are plain and not as cool as this one. I really like it but I hope the don’t send too many dog “necessities” because every pet owner would most likely already have a bowl, collar, & leash for their pet… but I do like replacing old or plain ones once in a while so this is nice.

X Files Shirt

Just like last month, the shirt matches the regular Loot Crate shirt so you can be totally cool walking your dog in matching outfits…. although the neighbors called the cops on me because I took it to the extreme and didn’t wear any pants so we were truly matching lol. Ok so maybe I didn’t but that’s probably only because it’s winter out.

…and that was the Loot Pets “Invasion” box for January 2016. I think they’ve done a great job with this box so far and despite my dog tearing up the Frisbee, I think it was still well worth the $25/month subscription price.
