Loot Anime “Enchant” Unboxing & Review – December 2015

Loot Anime enchant review

After quite a long wait, we finally got our December Loot Anime “Enchant” box. If you haven’t heard of Loot Anime yet, well it’s an anime subscription box from Loot Crate. The box runs $30/month and it seems that Loot Crate is trying to fill it full of exclusives like they do their regular box. It seems that they had some issues with December’s box… first one of the items wouldn’t be available in time for the boxes release… then I can only assume that the replacement item took longer than expected as well because the box didn’t ship out until mid-January. For me, it was no big deal but I have heard some other complaints in the community because they got charged for January’s box before ever receiving Decembers. So enough with the chit-chat let’s see how the second Loot Anime stacks up…
.

.

…alright and let’s get up close and personal with the items in this box…

Loot Anime Enchant Charm

So it appears that like the Loot Crate pins, they Anime box is going to feature a new charm each month. I really didn’t know what to do with these at first… I know what they are for but I would never use them… but I think if it’s going to be an ongoing thing I will make up a way to display them on a chain or something because they really do look nice.

Madoka Magica Mini Print

I was proud of myself for recognizing what this was… I’ve only seen the first episode from the Madoka Magica series just to see what it is all about. It’s a decent quality print and they wrapped it up so that it wouldn’t get damaged in shipping. I’m not sure what I will do with it since I’m not very familiar with the show… I have to set aside some time to binge watch this and get me up to speed.

Is it Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Pin

I just love the name of this and I really like the little ghost design. I am totally going to check out this show if I can find it. I don’t believe it’s on Netflix at the moment so I will have to try Crunchyroll or something instead.

Kingdom Hearts Pewter Keyring

For a keychain, this is pretty cool. Although I think it may get tangled and annoying after a while because there’s a lot going on with the ring, chains, clip, Kingdom Hearts nameplate, …oh yeah and of course the sword. There’s no way I’ll be using this for my keys because its just too much but I think it’s a very good quality item for the right collector.

Konpeito Sugar Candy

I’ve got several Japanese candy subscription boxes before and love trying out new and exotic things. Konpeito isn’t very exotic though as it is just straight up sugar but I think it was a good way for Loot Anime to play it safe an appeal to all subscribers. Who doesn’t like sugar after all?

Fairy Tail Natsu’s Scarf Replica

In anticipation of this series being in the box I began to watch a few episodes. I didn’t get the significance of the scarf from what I saw but many fans have filled me in about it. I think this is definitely a series I can get into though from what I saw I really like it.

Rokka Braves of the Six Flowers T Shirt

This was the replacement item for the missing No Game No Life item that they weren’t able to get in time. I know nothing of this series as it was completely unannounced so I didn’t have a chance to go look it up. I don’t see it on Netflix so I have it up on Crunchyroll right now as I write this. I like the shirt design regardless… even if I couldn’t find the show somewhere online to watch it I would still totally wear this.

loot anime review

…and that was December’s Loot Anime “Enchant” anime subscription box. I really like what they are doing here except that I think they need to include some type of nendoriod or something to make it somewhat similar to other subscription boxes out there. One of my favorite things about getting boxes like this are the little chibi figures and such that are unlike anything we typically get in the US. As I said before, a subscription to Loot Anime runs $30/month shipped and if you would like to try it for yourself, please use my link by clicking here.
