Geek Me Box was one of the first smaller companies to hit the scene after Loot Crate & Nerd Block really started taking off. I have to give them credit because I believe they have outlasted every other box that started up around that time. Of course now there are literally hundreds of other boxes on the market but it all started with a few pioneers like Geek Me Box. That being said, I think their boxes have been really sub-par lately and I keep hoping they can pull it back together but so far… well have a look for yourself…
…and then here are the photos…
2 candy canes and a piece of sour patch candy… it was good although my candy canes were a bit damaged from the trip.
Star Wars Playing Cards in a Collectible Tin
This is a really nice, high quality deck of cards in an awesome looking tin. The downside of it though is that it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still just a deck of cards…
Harley Quinn Plush
This Harley Quinn plush is quite large and filled up a good portion of the box. I really don’t like plushies though and this one seems like it’s more of a carnival prize doll and not a retail store type plush. Something about it just reminds me of the type of item you would expect from a higher quality claw game or something.
Kylo Ren Shirt
This is a really nice shirt design. I like the reflection of the light saber on his mask and the likeness of Kylo Ren is spot on. Geek Me Box has always done some really great shirts in the past and this is no exception. Nerd Block also had a very similar shirt design this month which is unfortunate for me since I get both boxes but I don’t mind it so much.
…and that was the Geek Me Box for December 2015. Yes that was all that was in the box this month… 3 things and some candy. This is easily $30 worth of items to cover the $30 price tag but it’s not exactly going to make people scramble to sign up for the box either. Geek Me Box has announced bigger and better things for 2016 so we will have to wait and see how that goes…
