My Geek Box “K.O.” Unboxing & Review – December 2015

my geek box review

I was shocked the other day when I came home to find a big brown cardboard box shipped from the UK. I couldn’t figure out what I could have possibly ordered from overseas until I saw who it was from… My Geek Box is a UK based subscription box that offers FREE shipping to the US. The theme for December 2015 was “K.O.” and it had an item SO BIG, it wouldn’t fit in the standard size box. Want to take a look? Well here’s my unboxing:

…alright and now for the photos…

DC Comic Buttons

You know me, I don’t care for buttons at all but I know some people do. As far as buttons go these are pretty standard but you get a pretty good selection of DC heroes in the package.

Street Fighter Unlimited Issue #1 with My Geek Box Exclusive Cover

I do like getting exclusive cover comic books even though I’m not much of a comic collector. I like Street Fighter so I will definitely give this one a read.

Dragonball Z Mug

Even though I am not a big fan of Dragonball Z, even I know this is an awesome mug. The colors are bright and vibrant and any Dragonball Z fan would love to drink their morning coffee out of one.

Hadouken Black Belt Academy T Shirt

This is a spoof on the everyday karate dojo but it implies that it is being taught by Ryu (in case you didn’t get the reference). I don’t care much for white shirts but this one isn’t bad. I like the design of it but I doubt anyone will take the time to read that it’s a spoof and not just an everyday dojo.

Bruce Lee Figure

So this was the item too big for the standard box. Even without the extra packaging on the side this figure wouldn’t have fit in the box with everything else. I’m a big Bruce Lee fan so this will make a great addition to my collection of geeky stuff. I’m not sure if I will leave him in the package yet or take him out… the kid in me wants to play Enter the Dragon lol.

…and that was the My Geek Box “K.O.” theme for December 2015. Overall I think they did a great job with the theme and that Bruce Lee figure absolutely made the box by itself. A subscription to My Geek Box runs $30/month with FREE shipping to the US.
