Fandora’s Box is the newest box in town. They came in kinda quietly with very little advertising that I could see but it certainly got my attention. Sometimes I jump right in and grab a first box, but sometimes I wait to see what other people got first before diving in. Originally I was going to do the latter but I kept checking back on them every once in a while and decided that they looked like something I wanted to try. The premiere box was themed “Nemesis” and spoiler-alert… it was amazing! Check it out…
…amazing right? So let’s take a closer look at everything that was in this box…
Storm Trooper Candy
Inside this helmet is a bit of candy, a Star Wars sticker, and a dog tag. I like the Storm Trooper helmet way better than what was inside and will be putting it up with my other Star Wars merchandise.
Star Wars Vader Down Comic
This is the original cover for the Vader Down comic. I have a variant cover for it as well from My Geek Box and wouldn’t be surprised if I get one or two more in the next wave of subscription boxes. I still haven’t read it yet but I’m definitely excited to get into it as soon as I find the time.
Infinity Gauntlet Bottle Opener
This is such a unique item and it looks very cool with the shiny metallic finish and colored stones in it. There are magnets on the back too so you can hang it on the fridge when it’s not in use which is both handy and awesome fridge décor all in one.
First Order Storm Trooper Notebook
It’s a spiral notebook but just look at that cover! I love the line work on this Storm Trooper helmet and the notebook itself is a very good quality item. It comes with a matching pen inside and the pages are printed with tie fighter diagrams and such.
I now have a Joker to go with my Batman Dorbz… and what else can you say? They’re a-Dorbz!
Sherlock Moriarty Funko Pop
I don’t watch Sherlock but I can still appreciate this Funko Pop. He is nicely detailed and looks very cool… plus it’s not like I am completely unfamiliar with Moriarty since he is a classic character in literature after all.
Assassin’s Creed Kylo Ren Shirt
I totally missed that this was a mash-up shirt. At first glance it just looks like Kylo Ren but on closer inspection he has some of the Assassin’s Creed outfit worked into his design. This is a very cool shirt and I will definitely be wearing this one.
…and that was the Fandora’s Box “Nemesis” theme for December 2015. Overall I think they came out with a bang! Plenty of stuff so you can see how great a value this box is… as well as a flawless theme execution as there is no question these are “Nemesis” characters. Fandora’s Box runs $35/month shipped but based on this first box it seems well worth the money if you ask me. If you want to try Fandora’s Box for yourself, you can check out their website by clicking here. January’s box is already sold out so you will have to get in on February’s box if you want to try them out.
