Geek Fuel Unboxing & Review – December 2015

geek fuel review

Normally I get these Geek Fuel reviews done in time for you to order the box if you like it but I dropped the ball in December. Geek Fuel doesn’t typically have a theme but they have been packing in the Star Wars items in preparation for the Force Awakens movie release. Of course you also get a great Steam game each month which is why I like them so much… so what was in the box? Well check it out…

…alright how about that? Naturally I photographed everything to you could see it better…

BB-8 Eraser and Liquid Candy Sabers

These two items are pretty close to what we call “filler” although I’d say they are just a slight notch above. The BB-8 eraser is just that… an eraser so …yeah it erases stuff. The liquid candy sabers though are pretty awesome. They come with little stick on handles to make them look like real light sabers. I will drink the juice inside but I refuse to chew the wax though because it makes me gag.

8-Bit Gift Wrap

The perfect geeky item just before Christmas. You have a Mario, Mega Man, and Zelda print sheet of wrapping paper in this pack. I, of course, forgot about them and left them in the box so I will have to make use of them for a birthday or other occasion.

Deathstar Ice / Candy Mold

Geek Fuel included a delicious looking recipe for a peanut butter cup Deathstar that I will most likely never ever make ever… but I like the idea that I could make a candy Deathstar if I wanted lol. Instead I will be making giant Deathstar ice cubes to totally destroy my drinks.

Devil’s Bluff & 2 Bloo Kid Steam Games

Two Full Steam games this month!! Very nice! I say it every month but this is my favorite part of the box. Most of the games have been lots of fun and even the ones that were only so-so still provided me with a few hours of enjoyment. This adds a lot of value to the box every month… provided you actually play them… but I don’t think there is another box on the market that brings you a full game each and every month.

Bart Simpson’s Manual of Mischief

I tell you what, this is a very nice book! We got a similar Wolverine book a few month’s back that I called “a pop up book for adults”… even though that sounds kinda dirty. What it has is little interactive items on some of the pages that go along with the story so theres more to it than just reading a Simpson’s book.

Joker Jack Skellington Shirt

I love this design! I think they did a great job mashing up the Joker and Jack Skellington and the two twisted worlds fit well together. This is a definite win for me and I will wear this one often.

…and that was the Geek Fuel for December 2015. I thought they did a great job with everything this month and I only wish I could have published this review earlier so you would have a chance to get one for yourself. Geek Fuel runs $25/month and is typically available for order for the entire month unlike other boxes who cut off right before shipping.
