Geek Me Box Unboxing & Review – November 2015

geek me box review

For November, there were no hints or spoilers for the Geek Me Box at all so when it arrived the contents were a complete mystery. If you want to get right down to it that is exactly how a mystery subscription box is supposed to be… but in a market that is very saturated with boxes to choose from …a little hint or two wouldn’t hurt to help drive up sales. So what did November’s box bring? Check it out for yourself…

…so what did you think? Well let’s take a closer look with some photos…

Assassins Creed Unity Lanyard

Yes we got yet another lanyard this month… out of all the boxes I got I’m pretty sure about half of them sent lanyards. Of course none of them could have anticipated what the others would ship… let’s face it. No one but a very small select few actually need a lanyard.

Angry Birds Space Accessory Set

It pains me to say this but WTF is this? Angry Birds is SO not relevant anymore and this set is a joke full of cheap garbage. Luckily I have kids who I can pass this on to but come on Geek Me Box… I know you’re so much better than this. Ah well… these things some times happen in the subscription box world.

Hero Hourly Comic

Ah here we go! Something good… well hopefully good because I haven’t read it yet but it looks interesting. I like the artwork and it’s a clever take on superheros comparing their job to any other 9 to 5 or something of the sorts. It’s bagged and carded so it came in pristine condition too.

Jon Snow Funko Pop

I’m not sure is everyone got a Jon Snow or if they were random but I think it’s awesome because I don’t have him yet. I’m a HUGE Game of Thrones fan and I cant wait for the new season! They just recently released the new poster with a bloody Jon Snow on it so this couldn’t have been a more perfect time for the Pop.

Simp-Sons of Anarchy Shirt

Yes! Now this is the Geek Me Box shirts I know and love. Great design, clever idea… I will definitely wear this. Geek Me Box has had a pretty good history of providing awesome shirts in their boxes so I’m glad to see them get back on track!

geek me box review

…and that was the Geek Me Box for November 2015. Overall this was a split box of good and bad which in turn balances it out and makes it about average I guess. They tend to include things no other box does which I think sometimes can backfire but that’s just a risk you have to take. Geek Me Box runs $30/month and if you would like to subscribe, you can use promo code “NerfHerder” to save yourself 5% off your first month. You can visit their website by clicking here.
