Geek Fuel Unboxing & Review – November 2015

geek fuel review

I’m always excited when my Geek Fuel arrives! They didn’t spill a lot of details about November’s box other than they had a Star Wars item inside… and of course a full Steam game download as they always do. What’s unique about Geek Fuel is that they continue to take orders long after they ship the first boxes so you can check out what’s inside before you buy. Yeah they may spoil the surprise but at the same time if you regret that you missed an item …well it may not be too late. Soooo what was in the box? Well check it out:

alright now let’s check out the pictures:

The Hunger Games Mockingjay Sticker

Yeah I know it’s just a sticker but it’s not bad. Normally I don’t care for stickers but once in a while you get a cool one.

Fallout 4 “War Never Changes” Poster

I love this poster! I’ve lost a crapton of sleep playing Fallout 4 since it’s release and I’ve barely scratched the surface of the game. I spent a few days just playing around with building my settlement & how all of the different materials work. I need to get a frame for this and put it up on the wall!

Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Security Badge

This item is pretty cheesy but again I am a sucker for all things Fallout at the moment so I like it. I need to get a retro looking photo taken to put on it lol. Not sure where I will wear it just yet but I will find a reason.

Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Playing Cards

I don’t play cards anymore so I wont make use of these… but as someone who has logged hours around a table playing with friends I can definitely appreciate getting a fresh deck of geeky cards. I like the caricature look of the Ghostbusters I think it captured their likeness & personalities very well.

Pac-Man Salt & Pepper Shakers

I didn’t realize this but apparently these were in an Arcade Block a few months ago. Since I don’t get that box regularly these are new to me but I could see how someone would be disappointed if they get both boxes. But anyways, these are nice quality ceramic salt & pepper shakers and they are marked with the S & P by the holes on the top to tell which is which (I was confused at first because I didn’t notice the hole patterns).

Defense Grid 2 Full Steam Download

I say this every month… I love the full Steam games in these boxes. Defense Grid 2 is a tower defense game that I’ve actually had in my Steam wish list for a while so it’s pretty awesome that I got it from Geek Fuel. Between this box and the Humble Bundles I’ve got several hundred games in my Steam library so I can never say that I don’t have anything to play.

Star Wars Model Kit Shirt

I used to build a lot of models as a kid so I like the design of this shirt. I know the plastic rings all too well… and the clipping and sanding the little post edges off. Ahhh the memories lol. What more can be said other than: I will definitely wear this shirt!

…and that was the Geek Fuel for November 2015. Like I said in the intro, they usually keep orders open until the end of the month if you want to get in on it. The box runs about $24/month and I’m almost always satisfied with what I get. If you would like to try Geek Fuel for yourself, please use my affiliate link by clicking here.
