Sci-Fi Block Unboxing & Review – October / November 2015

sci-fi block review

I tell you what… Nerd Block must have been reading my mind because I’ve been wanting a SciFi themed subscription box for a while now. Enter the Sci-Fi Block with their premiere box for November 2015. Because it ships right at the very beginning of the month, I had originally classified it as a late October box but it seems that they actually consider it to be November so I will make the correction. The first box was promised to be heavy on Star Wars items so lets crack it open and take a look…
.

.

…alright then let’s take a closer look at all the stuff in the box…

Star Wars Madlibs

If you know me at all, you know I love Madlibs! I’m still a big fan of the “poop and fart” jokes whenever the story calls for one lol. We use these on long road trips to get the kids off their electronics for a while.

Star Wars the Force Awakens Can Coozy

Meh… this would make a better spring item… it isn’t as useful going into the winter months. I know I’m a sucker for all things Star Wars but this one really isn’t that great in my opinion.

Doctor Who Funko Pocket Pop

I’m not a big Doctor Who fan… you’ve probably heard me say that many many times. Pocket Pops also aren’t really my favorite either. But the good Doctor has a huge following so it doesn’t bother me to get some items once in a while.

Claudia Wells Signed Photo

I’m not really big on autographs from celebrities unless I were to meet them in person… BUT this is still a cool item. And yes, as Nerd Block advertised… I did have a HUGE crush on her as a kid lol.

Star Wars Force Awakens Funko Pop

I was hoping to get some of these! There were several you could have received, I just happened to get C-3P0 which is ok but I would have rather got one of the newer characters. No big deal though because I purposefully avoided buying there because I knew they would be in alot of geeky subscription boxes in the next few months.

Biff’s Pit Bull Hoverboards Shirt

Technically it should be Griff’s but then again… maybe it was Biff who bought the company with his untold millions he won. Either way I love the shirt design.
