Here’s a BRAND NEW subscription “box” called TeeBlox! Well ok, it’s not exactly a subscription box… it’s actually a monthly T-Shirt subscription service. Each month you get a new FULLY LICENSED T-Shirt from one of three categories of your choosing: Video Games, TV & Movies, or Alcohol. You can also opt for a mix of all three if you cant decide. In addition to the shirt, you get a selection of extras such as comics, movie posters, & stickers. I went with the TV & Movies category although I was torn between that and Video Games (I’m not big on beer & liquor shirts personally). So do you want to check out what I got?? Ok here’s the video…
…pretty cool right? I was totally blown away by the shirt design! Let’s take a closer look…
TeeBlox Stickers & Buttons
Normally I’m not a big sticker person but that “Star Wars Coffee” sticker is awesome! I am totally putting that on my car. The Captain America sticker will go to the kids and the buttons go in my giant box of geeky subscription box buttons that just keeps piling up lol. Bonus points for anyone who can tell me what the little red dinosaur is and why I am supposed to love him… I have no clue lol.
Anchorman 2 Movie Poster
This movie wasn’t nearly as good as the first but I do have a thing for movie posters. One day I will have a home theater in my basement… but since my house doesn’t have a basement I guess that could be a while. I’m interested to see what other movie posters I will get in the future…
Keep in mind when ordering the TeeBlox service that the product is shipped in a shipping bag and not a box so the comics probably will not reach you in pristine condition. Since I am not a comic collector this doesn’t matter to me… mostly I just read them and stick them away in a box never to see the light of day again. This is another nice little extra you get in addition to the shirt.
Licensed Star Wars T-Shirt
This shirt is perfect for me! Naturally you cant go wrong with Star Wars and this design is so completely unique I’ve never seen one quite like it before. There was a note on the shirt explaining that they used a special printing technique that’s stamped onto the shirt after it’s already assembled… the picture really doesn’t do it justice… and it also had a design on the back:
you can see the printing technique better on the back where its grainy and faded in spots. I never thought they would be shipping out shirts of this quality… I assumed it would be a simple “Star Wars” logo or something you would find on the cheap racks. I was definitely pleased with the shirt I got if you couldn’t tell.
…and there you have the TeeBlox for October 2015. Unlike other subscription services, not everyone gets the same thing with TeeBlox so you may want to check out some other unboxings to really get a feel for what types of shirts you get… or you can stick around because I should be getting a TeeBlox every month. The service is only $9.99 plus shipping and the licensed shirt alone costs $15-20 easily. I would like to thank TeeBlox for sending me this to me free of charge in exchange for my honest review and to get the word out about their new service.
