Super Geek Box “Unity” Unboxing & Review – September 2015

super Geek Box

The theme for September’s Super Geek Box was “Unity”. Kinda a broad open-to-interpretation theme if you ask me but I’m not a stickler for themes as you may know. I’ve been liking the Super Geek Box so far and apparently so has everyone else because it seems to be getting a great response from almost everyone. So check out what they had in store for this month…

…ok well theres the video. And as usual I follow with the photos…

“United We Stand” Super Mario Propaganda Poster & Sticker

Most of the time, posters and stickers are “meh” for me but not this time. This design is awesome! I love the look of old propaganda posters and have been wanting to get some of the Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica themed posters if I only had some wall space. Super Mario is (of course) a classic and this Goomba design will go perfect in my gaming area!

I will give it a generous $5 for the pair

Hyrule University Pennant

It’s very off to get a pennant in a geek box let alone 2 of them. Last month we got one in the Arcade Block and now this… like I said in my video I believe maybe there is a company that was pitching the idea to the different box companies. Maybe we will see more. This one is ok looking and I may possibly hang it up on the wall but I’m not sure just yet.

I would guess the value at $5

Carl the Minion Funko Pop

It’s always a good day when you get a Funko Pop in your geeky subscription box! I don’t really collect Minions but I never turn down a Pop so this was a welcome addition to my collection. The box was a little bit crushed but since this is a common Pop I’m not going to sweat it.

I value all Funko Pops at $10

“Today I’m Feeling” Kirby T-Shirt

Funny thing is I have something similar to this on my fridge …but without the Kirby. I like the shirt, it’s a very clever design and the colors are right so it will be something that I wear.

I value all shirts at $10

Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles T-Shirt

I’ve seen this mash-up before although it was by a different artist. Even though I’m not a Pokémon fan I really like this shirt and the “squirtles” are actually much cuter than the turtles. Another great shirt I will be sure to wear.

Again this has a value of $10

…and that was the Super Geek Box “Unity” theme for September 2015. An estimated $40 value for about $18 shipped. I’m not entirely sure how all of these things fit into the “Unity” theme but it really doesn’t mean that much to me to try and figure it out. One thing is for sure… no matter how you look at it, 2 shirts and a Funko Pop for under $20 makes a great box any day!
