Collectible GEEK “Animation After Dark” IWIA Unboxing & Review – August 2015

.
collectible GEEK

If you want to get technical …Collectible GEEK has 2 caches for the month of August. This one, the “Animation After Dark” cache was shipped at the beginning of the month… but also the “SuperWhoLock” cache that was shipped at the end as well. They have switched over their shipping schedule so in the transition we actually had 2. However, I only got this one because I am not a fan of Supernatural, Doctor Who, or Sherlock. But here I am rambling on… let’s check out what came in this IWIA cache!

Micro Posters & Magnet

These come pretty standard in the Collectible GEEK boxes lately. The micro posters are very “Warhol-like” and the magnet appears to be a simpson-ized “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” cover.

I’d estimate their worth at about $7

Simpsons Bendable Key Chain

I wont be using this as a key chain but I will definitely repurpose it for display somewhere in the nerd cave.

These sell for about $5

Archer Retractable ID Badge Holder

I’ve never watched Archer although it’s been one of those shows I’m always meaning to check out. Since I don’t use ID’s at work this item doesn’t have any real-world application for me but I may hold onto it for some reason or another …or then again I am waaay overdue to have a giveaway on my YouTube channel so maybe I will include it in that.

These sell for about $10

Adventure Time Plush

I really don’t like plushies …and when you get a plush from a show you don’t watch it’s like a kick in the crotch. I believe you could have got several different characters from the show …I got a big purple blob. Yes I know it’s Lumpy Space Princess but …meh

These sell for about $8

Pebble Fiction T-shirt

This design is awesome! I have the original Pulp Fiction movie poster on my wall and this is practically an exact duplicate. I like that the actor’s names along the side have been changed to a Flintstones-like name… it’s a very nice touch. This is a shirt done right and I will definitely be wearing this one!

I value all shirts at $10

Family Guy Brian and Stewie Funko Pops in Pop Protectors

Very cool! I’ve been meaning to pick these up but I have a rule not to buy common Pops because they will eventually get to me in a geeky subscription box lol.

I value all common Pops at $10 with $2.50 for the protectors making a total of $25

Futurama Fry, Bender, and Robot Devil Funko Pops in Pop Protectors

Again, these are very cool Pops that I’ve been wanting to get. They got the characters that matter too which is nice instead of having that one off-character that no one really likes lol.

These total out at $37.50

…and there you have the Collectible GEEK “Animation After Dark” IWIA Cache for August 2015. An estimated $93.50 value for only $65 + shipping. I think this was a great box! They got all the right Funko Pops for the theme and most of the other items were great too! The next cache I will be getting is themed “Quest Accepted” which will include video game items no doubt. If you want to try Collectible GEEK for yourself, you can visit their website by clicking here.
