Once again it’s time for my favorite box from the UK, the Z Box from Zavvi. Ok so it’s the only box I get from the UK but hey… take the compliment right? The theme for April is “Animation” and they promised to have a Funko Pop inside. So let’s just jump right into the video…
ok so there’s the video… now get to the photos already…
Z Box Filler
The magazine is just the standard box mag and there’s not much to say about the candy sticks other than they used to be called candy cigarettes lol. I’m not one for buttons but the South Park magnet is pretty awesome!
Thunder Cats Image card
I don’t know what you call them but this is the type that changes from the angle you view it. I tried to capture it in the transition so you can just make out the Thunder Cats logo in the background. I’m not sure what to do with it but it’s cool for sure.
This plus the other filler would roughly amount to $5
Uncle Scrooge Exclusive Comic
I love Duck Tales and this comic really takes me back! I assume its just a variant cover but I’m not entirely sure.
It has no cover price but I’m guessing $4
Disney Imagine Bullyland Mini Figure
This was a blind bag with 1 of 8 Disney mini figures inside. I don’t believe any 1 is more rare than the others but they certainly are tiny. Bullyland is apparently exclusive to the UK so I have no local comparison to these at all.
I would estimate they would sell for about $8
Optimus Prime Stress Ball
Normally these stress balls are kinda cheesy but I’m a big fan of Transformers and especially Optimus Prime so this one can double as a display figure I suppose. He is pretty well detailed for a small block of foam rubber or whatever and really squishy although I doubt I’ll be doing that much. I believe you could have got Bumblebee as well.
These sell for about $13
Big Hero 6 Funko Pop
I got Wasabi however I’m pretty sure you could have got any of the characters. Naturally out of all of them I like him the least but that’s how it goes in these mystery boxes lol.
I value all Pops at $10
…and that was the Z Box “Animation” theme from Zavvi. An estimated $40 value for $33 shipped to the US. No T-shirt this month for some reason, not that I’m complaining because I get so many each month I’m overrun with geeky subscription box shirts. If you want to try the Z Box for yourself, you can visit their website here. Every purchase made through my affiliate links goes right back to helping support this website.
As always, be sure to check out my other unboxings and follow me on social media so you never miss another box!
