Once again it’s time to unbox another Geek Fuel Geeky Subscription Box. The theme for April 2015 was “Avengers” (I think) …or at least that’s what the cover art made it out to be. Geek Fuel has been one of my favorite boxes since I started getting them just 3 short months ago. So was this one just as good? Lets find out…

Well what did you think? Yes I am aware you skip over the video but humor me lol. Let’s take a look at what we got…

Geeky Candy

I don’t really care for candy in my geeky subscription boxes. Sure I love candy as much as the next guy, but that’s not really why I get these and I’d much rather get an item instead. Of course there are worse things you can get than candy like useless paper items and stickers so I’m not complaining.

Combined these have a value of about $3

ScribbleNauts Unmasked

I don’t really care for the ScribbleNauts mini figures either but my kids love them. I confused this Ultraman for Superman …I think you can see why. They’re not as detailed as most other mini figures like Funko’s Mystery Minis and I’ve never actually played the game so it’s just not something that excites me.

These sell for around $8 per box

Geek Fuel Avengers Mug

I drink a lot of coffee and I think this mug design is really cool… but every company has done a mug recently and it’s starting to get old. Not that it’s Geek Fuel’s fault at all and to be honest… well most people don’t get the crap ton of boxes like I do so it’s good to them. I seriously had to throw away some older mugs to make room for all of the new ones… I guess that counts for something though right?

Mugs like this tend to cost about $10

Kingdom Wars 2 Battles Full Game Code

Now THIS is why I get Geek Fuel! 3 months and so far 3 full Steam game codes. The last 2 games have been great and I’m sure this one will be too. If I don’t play it I’m sure one of my kids will. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… if you’re going to claim to be a “subscription box for gamers” but never have a game code inside… then what good are you really? Kingdom Wars 2 is a RTS and the graphics look pretty decent from the trailer on Steam.

This game sells for $20

Avengers Ninja Turtles T-Shirt

This design is awesome and any geek would be happy to wear this around. Avengers is hot right now and so is TMNT so when you put them in a mash up… it almost certainly spells success!

I value all shirts at $10

…and there you have the Geek Fuel “Avengers” theme for April 2015. An estimated $51 value for $23 shipped. If I’m not mistaken, the theme for May is Star Wars! I know that all current subscribers are entered in the May the 4th day contest for a giant box of Star Wars stuff! Here’s to hoping I win!! (I never win the big monthly prize boxes for these companies have you noticed that?) If you would like to try Geek Fuel for yourself, you can visit their website by clicking here. Every purchase made with one of my affiliate links goes right back into helping me bring you more and more boxes each month!

Be sure to check out my other unboxings and subscribe to me on social media so that you never miss out on another box!
