Welcome to my second Horror Block Unboxing and Review. This one is for March 2015 and they have promised 2 Walking Dead items inside! For those who don’t know, Horror Block is from the makers of Nerd Block and it’s a geeky subscription box geared towards …well obviously horror items. So let’s jump right into the video!
So that wasn’t too bad if I do say so myself! Let’s take a closer look at what we got…
Evil Clown Key Cover
You could have either received this or an evil baby key cover. I don’t use key covers although maybe I should start because I have quite a few now from all of these boxes.
Similar key covers sell for about $5
Rue Morgue Magazine
A monthly horror magazine that I believe appears in the block every month. I’m not a big enough fan to read this I will wind up giving it away I’m sure.
It has a cover price of $10
3-D Wind-Up Mummy Puzzle
This was pretty cool. It’s a small 3-D puzzle figure that winds up and walks around. It’s not much of a “puzzle” though since it give the directions. Mine wont take a step without falling down though.
I’ve found them for sale for $5
Walking Dead Drawstring Bag
This is a simple drawstring “backpack” bag that you find most everywhere nowadays. There’s nothing special about it except for the fact that it has Daryl Dixon and blood splatters on it.
Similar licensed bags sell for around $10
Dixon Motorcycle Repair T-Shirt
This shirt is awesome! As a fan of the show I will wear this shirt all the time. Nerd Block is known for their quality shirts so this is a win all around!
I value all shirts at $10
Hellraiser Pinhead Canvas
This is so completely unusual for a geek box to send something of this magnitude. Posters are a dime a dozen but a canvas print is freaking expensive. I’m sure they got a great deal on them but still… now if I could only find a good spot to hang it.
I’m not sure how to price this, a paper print is $15 so I will estimate it at $30 for a canvas print.
…and there you have it. The Horror Block for March 2015. An estimated $70 value for $30 shipped! Sadly I will not be getting any more of this box as I have canceled my subscription. I’m not a big horror collector so most items this box has to offer are wasted on me. However, I may pick one up from time to time if they have an interesting theme or spoiler for the month.
