After a few months off, I had to bring the Hero Crate back for another unboxing. So who is the hero for March? Well… see for yourself…

.

Did you guess Mario? I pretty much expected it since they already did a Link box. There really wasn’t any other choice… so let’s take a closer look…

Star Power Shirt

This has got to be one of the greatest shirt designs ever! A mash-up of Star Wars and Super Mario is practically genius lol. Ok well maybe not THAT great but this is still an awesome shirt!

I value all shirts at $10

Plush Mario

I’m not a big fan of plush… I’ve said it a million times now. Somehow I knew there would be one in this box because for whatever reason it’s a rule that you cant have a Mario box without a Mario plush. I already have someone lined up to give this to so that it’s not a total downer.

These sell for about $12

Pixel Sunglasses

This is the third pair of pixel glasses from geeky subscription boxes over the past few months. I do like these better because they are solid black as opposed to wacky color schemes.

These sell for around $6

Coin Block Candy

I’ve got a few similar candies recently. They’re good and I like the tins they come in because they display well.

These sell for $6

Mario Filler

We also got a motivational poster and 2 stickers. I like them more than most other filler I get in similar boxes. They will actually fit in my kid’s room quite nicely since they have a retro gaming décor in there.

I’ll estimate their value at $5

…and there you have the Hero Crate “Mario” box for March 2015. An estimated $39 value for $30 shipped. Overall I am pleased with this box even though you don’t get much in them. I wont be getting next month’s box because I believe it may be Superman and I don’t really like him enough to have a whole box. I will, however, continue to look out for themes that I like in the future. If you want to try Hero Crate for yourself, you can visit their website by clicking here.

Be sure to check out my other unboxings and follow me on social media! Good Bye!
