collectible GEEK

It’s my favorite time of the month!! Collectible GEEK has arrived! The cache for February is themed “Fantasy” and has been sold out since it first went on sale back in January. So lets take a look inside and see what all the fuss is about…
.

.

Amazing right? I’ve never seen items like these in a geek box before. Let’s take a closer look at each item…

collectible GEEK

Kre-O Dungeons & Dragons Figure

This guy isn’t too bad. I liked the Transformers Kre-O figures I got in My Geeky Goodies better but he is pretty interesting. I’ve seen some others that were much cooler than mine but that’s the luck of the draw with blind packs. What more can you say about a mini figure?

These sell for about $5

collectible GEEK

Game of Thrones Mystery Minis

I love Game of Thrones and I cant believe more boxes don’t include these items in them. I got Robb Stark but to be honest I would like any of them. I really should have ordered a 6 pack of these from collectible GEEK when I had the chance but now they are all out. Ah well, they are easy enough to find if I want them bad enough.

These sell for $8

collectible GEEK

Harry Potter House Patches

Why did they only include the 2 houses? Probably because I don’t even know the names of the other 2 without having to look them up lol. I’m not a big Harry Potter fan but these are really nice quality patches and would make a fan very happy. I will probably include them in my giveaway I am planning to have at the end of the month.

These sell for about $8 each making it $16 for the pair

collectible GEEK

Collectible GEEK Poster

I love this poster! It is a collectible GEEK exclusive item and whoever they have to design these is really quite talented. I’ll have to figure out what to do with this one because my wall space is already pretty full.

I will estimate the value at $5

collectible GEEK

Game of Thrones House Stark Sigil

This and the 2 other pieces of jewelry are very unique for a geek box. All 3 are good quality, however, some people have complained that they cant wear costume jewelry due to skin issues. The House Stark Sigil is actually silver despite how the picture looks, it was reflecting the colors in the room. I don’t wear jewelry myself but I will display it for sure.

I’ve found these for about $10

collectible GEEK

The Hobbit Ring of Power

Again, another great jewelry piece. The ring is on a very nice chain and the writing on it is very clear and authentic looking. I’m a big Hobbit fan so this is going in my display as well!

Similar ones sell for about $10

collectible GEEK

Harry Potter Hermione’s Time Turner

I’ll be honest, I had to look this one up. I’ve seen the movie but I guess the item itself didn’t really click with me. This is a VERY cool piece and I like the way the rings fall into place when you pick it up. It’s gold but it’s hard to tell in the photo because again it was reflecting the other colors in the room. Since I’m not a big fan this may possibly wind up in my giveaway as well.

Similar ones sell for $15

collectible GEEK

Tauriel Funko Pop in a Pop Protector

Last but not least, we cant forget about the Funko Pop! Tauriel is a great figure and a welcome addition to my Pop collection. I love getting the Pop protectors because I swap them out with some of my more prized ones instead.

I value all Pops at $10 with $2.50 for the protector

collectible GEEK

And that was Collectible GEEK’s “Fantasy” Cache for February 2015. A HUGE $80 VALUE (estimated) for only $33 shipped!!! That’s incredible… I’ve never priced out any box that high before! These boxes sell out fast and you can see why. March has been long sold out (Totally 80s themed) and (as of this writing) subscriptions have gone live to get in before April goes on sale (which will no doubt sell out in only a few days). April’s theme is “Assemble” as in Avengers!! They have also altered some of their product line slightly and introduced “POP Packs” that you can order a selection of themed Funko Pops.

If you’re interested in trying Collectible GEEK, you can visit their website by clicking here. My NEW affiliate link will get you 3% off your purchase which is much better than my original flat $2.50 discount from before! I highly recommend going with a subscription because you automatically get in on each month’s box… and if you don’t like a theme you can tell them to skip you until you get one you like! Cool right? So until next time….
