Nerd Block feb

It’s time once again for another Nerd Block unboxing! This month’s theme is “Exclusives” meaning every item in the box is said to be a Nerd Block Exclusive item. So enough with the chit-chat lets have a look inside!

So what did you think? Best box ever? or came up short? Let’s just jump right into these items and take a closer look!

Flashsicle T-shirt

I like these clever product spins on T-shirts. I’ve got a few like this through the various boxes and I enjoy them all. My only gripe is that I wish this shirt wasn’t such a bright blue as it is just not my taste in color, however, I like the shirt and will definitely wear it!

I always value T-shirts at $10

Saul Goodman Titan Figure

Technically this is a “Breaking Bad” item and not the “Better Call Saul” item that they were advertising. Yes I know it’s the same thing and it honestly doesn’t matter to me but I felt the need to point that out. The figure is pretty well detailed and it a really good likeness of the character. I have to wait and see how I like the new show, otherwise this might wind up as a giveaway.

This one was tough to price out but similar figures sell for about $20

Drum Up Some Ideas Notepad

Oddly enough… this is NOT an exclusive item. It may be exclusive to the US and Canada however, because I only found it for sale in Europe. Its a notepad with a picture of a drum set on it with pencils and over sized erasers for drum sticks. It’s clever but as I can freely tap my fingers, pens, and pencils without the visual aid of a drum set whenever I please …well needless to say this item is gimmicky as a “look what I got” type thing and that’s about it.

In US $ this would be about $10

Star Wars Comic With Exclusive Cover

It seems I love this comic so much I own it 3x. It’s good that it is Star Wars because I think I would be pissed if I had 3 copies of just about any other comic out there. I’d love to frame and display them somewhere but unfortunately I am all out of wall space. This is a nice cover but personally I like Loot Crate’s better.

This comic sells for about $5

Exclusive Cliccors

I don’t know about these I’ve been trying all sorts of things and I have yet to make something photo worthy. They’re plastic pieces in a loop that can twist and bend but you are pretty limited on what they can do. If you didn’t watch my video I will fill you in: they have a contest where you submit your coolest shape to win a bunch of great prizes but so far I’ve come up empty. Maybe I need to sleep on it.

I can only guess at the retail value of these, I’ll put $10 for the pair

Nerd Play Trading Cards

It’s a very clever line of trading cards but I don’t find them appealing at all. I’m not putting down cosplay in any way shape or form I actually like it a lot. I think each of these people featured on the cards are masters at their craft but the fact is I don’t really care to have them on a trading card. There’s nothing here I cant see with a simple Google image search which makes these cards pointless in my opinion.

I don’t know how to price these but we will call them $5 for the pair.

And that was February’s Nerd Block “Exclusives”. An estimated $60 value for $30 shipped is not bad at all. I have mixed feeling about this box but I definitely got my money’s worth in it. Next months box is curated by Simon Pegg of “Shaun of the Dead” (etc…) so if you’re interested in trying it out, please subscribe using my affiliate link to help support my website 🙂

I wont be getting next month’s block, I canceled but in exchange I started up BOTH Arcade Block and Horror Block to finish out my mega month of unboxing everything I can get my hands on! Be sure to follow me on social media to catch all of the latest boxes and I will be hosting a GIVEAWAY at the end of the month so you wont want to miss that! Until next time….
