I was definitely surprised by how good this box was! So lets take a closer look at all of the items…

Hobbit Key Pen and Bookmark:

Normally a pen and bookmark would be BORING but not when the pen is like a movie prop replica! The bookmark is 3d and is very impressive looking …you know …for a bookmark. The pen displays better than it writes but I guess that’s the point right? Other variations were “Sting” and “Gandalf” that you could have received.

These sell for $9

Plush Grumpy Cat

I’m not a real big fan of plush items… except when it’s Grumpy Cat! Just look at him all fluffy and pissed off lol. Theres not much more to say about him…

These sell for $10

Nerd Block Elf Ears

Such an odd item to find yet so completely geeky! They just fit over the ear to stay in place but if you wanted to get serious you could put some spirit gum on them to make them hold better and look more realistic. I don’t have much use for them in an every day application sense lol but they will definitely come in handy for Halloween for sure.

These are exclusive but others sell for about $10

Star Trek – Planet of the Apes comic

It’s an odd combination that I could see very well happening in the original Star Trek series… ya know, just as long as there was some hot ape girl for Kirk to bang. I haven’t had time to read it yet but I will get around to it soon. Apparently there is a whole series of these but I’m not sure if this is an exclusive issue or just an exclusive cover.

These sell for about $5

Scatter Brainz Darts

These are pretty strange. If it weren’t for the included “decision maker” dart board I’m not sure what I would have done with them. However, Nerd Block managed to make them fun and for that I give them props! If only I could hang it in my office…. don’t think the big boss would appreciate it though lol.

These prices hit rock bottom around $2.50 online

Sonic Screwdriver T-shirt

I’ve said it many times… I just cant get into Doctor Who but I am trying. The design on this shirt, however, is awesome! I really like the bright green logo, it works really well overall. I ordered this in a small so it would fit my kids who actually do like the Doctor so this worked out perfectly.

I value all t-shirts at $10

PremierCell Star Wars Film Cell

I love this item but I’m not exactly sure about the origins of the film cell inside. What I mean is that I’m not sure if this is just a copy of the movie cut up and packaged or if the film itself came from something special. If they have thousands of copies of the movie to cut up then why do I need a certificate of authenticity right? Either way it’s not about the $ value to me but how it displays so this will work well in my “nerd cave”

I could not find these exact cells but the company that makes them sells similar ones for $7.50

An there you have it! January’s “Galaxy Far Far Away” Nerd Block. An estimate $64 value for $30 shipped. I was very pleased with this box overall and I’m glad I came back to Nerd Block. I’m going to keep them for February because I am curious about their “all exclusives” theme. If you would like to try Nerd Block for yourself, visit their website by clicking my affiliate link here.
