I have to admit, the 1Up Box sent out a great box last month in December! This month’s theme was “Robo Mahem” which has tons of potential… so what did they do with it? Let’s check it out!

And in my normal fashion, we will take a closer look at each item…

Beemo 1Up Box Armband

I don’t understand the single sweatband in a geek box thing. I know I have at least 1 or 2 more stashed around somewhere. I have to say this is kind of a dud item. Somewhere I’m sure some professional gamer made this famous but to me its a pretty useless item. I also don’t watch Adventure Time so I’m not a fan of Beemo.

I cant really price this out accurately but other armbands sell for about $5

Plush Star Wars Vehicle

Another item I really don’t like… plush items in general aren’t very appealing. Plus even though there are lots of robots in Star Wars, these items are not robot related. If I would have received any other vehicle I would have been slightly happier but the Star Destroyer is pretty boring looking. I am a huge Star Wars fan (Nerf Herder duh) but this one just falls flat in my book.

They sell for about $14

Omegabot T-Shirt

Ok now THATS what I’m talking about!! This shirt is awesome! The design is great and it covers everything that is cool about robots all wrapped up into one package. I will definitely be wearing this one and the shirt alone makes the whole box worthwhile.

I value all shirts at $10

The Filler

2 Evil Paper Buddies, 1 Baymax Valentine, 1 Bender Air Freshener (not pictured), and the button. I will for sure make the papercraft items and it looks like the GF is getting a geeky valentine this year lol. The air freshener I hung up and forgot about… I don’t even smell it anymore …its hanging out with the tons of other “geeky” air fresheners I keep getting.

All of this I roughly value at about $6

And there you have the January “Robo Mayhem” box from 1Up Box. An estimated $35 value for less than $20 shipped. For me, I wasn’t really feeling the “robo mayhem” vibe from this box… they could have done much better. However, they did include an epic shirt as they always promise and that makes everything better! If you want to try 1Up Box for yourself, visit their website by clicking this link and help me support my unboxing habit! Remember there are lots more boxes that I review so be sure to check out all of my posts because I’ve still got plenty more coming!
