It’s always exciting when I see that big red and blue logo on a box at my front door! My Geeky Goodies has never had a bad box, although some have been better than others. January’s theme is “Pixel Power” and I can’t wait to see what’s inside! Yeah so let’s do that…

Ok so lets take a closer look at those items!

Game Of Thrones House Koopa T-Shirt

It’s funny because on the video I never made the connection to Game Of Thrones on this one. I just thought it was a cool Koopa shirt (I blame the fact that we are between seasons lol) Either way the design is great and I will definitely be wearing this one!

I always value shirts at $10

Minecraft Mini Figure

I always see these at the store but never buy them… and well this stupid horse is why. I like blind boxes when I get them through these geek boxes but when I’m actually buying one in the store I’m a little more weary about getting a blah character. However that’s what you get in that crazy gambling world of blind mini figs lol. Fortunately this horse has already been claimed by one of the kids so he is not going to waste.

These sell for about $7

Street Fighter Keychain Light

Boo that it’s a keychain, yay that it makes awesome “Hadoken” sounds while Ryu shoots light from his hands lol. I’m not going to put my keys on it but I will, however, annoy EVERYONE around me by constantly pressing the button over and over and over and over and over again!

Believe it or not this thing costs about $15

Ink Whiskey NES Flask

This item is unbelievably cool, yet somehow completely useless at the same time. It is a near exact replica of a classic NES game, hollowed out so you can fill it with some type of booze or whatever. Very Cool! However there is nowhere this would ever come in handy unless you were at some type of alcohol free retro gaming party. I mean… no where else would it be acceptable to have a video game cartridge stashed in your pocket. Also, with the hole being recessed it is very awkward to drink from and is prone to spills.

These sell for $15

Nintendo Game Packs, Star Candy, and Button

These Nintendo game packs are AWESOME! I wasn’t sure if it was a re-release or not but it looks like the original 1989 cards are still widely available for purchase so I think they are legit. These definitely take me back as I used to buy them all the time back in the day. We got 2 packs with 5 cards in each. The Star candy is well… just candy and nothing special but I will keep the tin that it comes in after they are gone.

The filler is worth about $10 total

And that, folks, is January’s My Geeky Goodies “Pixel Power”. Coming in at a whopping $57 estimated value for just $25 shipped these guys definitely scoured around to give you the most bang for your buck this month! If you are interested in trying My Geeky Goodies for yourself you can visit their website here. Next month for February they have announced a retro 80’s theme which seems to be the thing to do in 2015 as there are several others with this same idea. Be sure and click around because I’m always getting new Geeky Boxes in the mail to review! Until next time….
