Here we are again with another unboxing! My Geeky Goodies just so happens to be my favorite box of all the mystery subscription boxes I’ve tried. Every month it seems that MGG knows exactly what I want because I haven’t had a single complaint yet! So how does November’s box stack up? Check out my video unboxing:
DOUBLE Funko Science Fiction Mystery Minis:
Sometimes you want variety in your boxes but sometimes it’s cool to get more than one blind figure packs so you can actually get a collection going. I personally love the Mystery Minis and already have a few so I was excited to get 2 more. The Alien is awesome and is quite a bit bigger than all of the rest which is nice. Judge Dredd, on the other hand, is one that I could probably do without… not a fan. That’s ok though because the thing about blind boxes is that you get what you get and that’s all there is to it.
Sci fi Mystery Minis sell for about $7 each
So if you watched the video, you already know I JUST BOUGHT THIS POP lol. I was at the store, they were on sale, so I picked up 4 including this one. I had to have him though! If I had passed him by at the store and then got this box you would have seen me jump for joy on camera lol. Naturally adopting the name “The Nerf Herder” clues you in that I am a HUGE Star Wars geek so they couldn’t have picked a better item to include this month. Like I said, it’s ok that I have 2 because now I can give one away as a gift.
Funko Pops sell for $10 ea.
Doctor Who Micro Figure
Yes I know I keep saying I am going to watch Doctor Who but I haven’t. That being said this guy means nothing to me because I don’t know who he is or what he is about. One of these days I will have a giant “Who binge” so I can join the rest of the geek world on this one but until then …he’s just an evil looking dude in a dress to me lol.
These Micro Figures sell for about $6
Star Trek Floppets
I’m still not exactly sure what the point of a Floppet is… but at least I got the enterprise and not one of the weird ones. It has a little Velcro strap on the back so you can wear it apparently but I believe I will be using it for computer cable management lol.
Floppets sell for $1.50
Star Wars Jelly Belly
Jelly beans with Star Wars plastered on the package …they were tasty. I will round them off to $1
And there you have it: the November 2014 My Geeky Goodies Mystery Subscription Box! With a total value of $32.50 for $25 shipped it wasn’t the most “profitable” box in terms of total value but it was still decent. You can subscribe to MGG by visiting their website at MyGeekyGoodies.com which is not an affiliate link and I am not compensated for this post in any way. Make sure you stick around because I still have 3 more boxes to post for November and then I put them all head to head to see which one is the best!
