Hello again and welcome to another Loot Crate Unboxing! October’s theme is “Fear” and it’s choc full of scary-type geeky stuff. You can catch all of the crazy unboxing antics for this month on my latest video:
And if the video wasn’t enough we shall discuss the items a bit further… so lets take a closer look at this month’s items:
Kitty Skull Shirt: I don’t know why I like this shirt so much… I just do. I ordered it small to fit my son but now I’m a bit jealous because I want it for myself. Ah well what can you do?
As always I assign a $10 value to a shirt
Dead Rising 3 Pen: I had no idea this thing was a pen lol… it doesn’t say it on the box anywhere and it just doesn’t feel like one. I guess that’s why they include a description of everything you get in the box …for dummys like me lol.
It’s an exclusive item so I have no basis to price it out… I mean its just a pen, but with all of the detail that’s gone into it I bet it has a $10 price tag though I wouldn’t pay more than $5 so that will be the price.
How To Survive A Sharknado Book: Ok so at first I thought this was totally cheesy, but after reading it a little it’s actually a good book. It’s basically a guide book that does exactly as the title suggests. Everything from a Beeclipse to Bigfoot …you will certainly bee prepared when other’s wont lol.
I found this book at ThinkGeek for $14.99 (affiliate link)
Walking Dead Comic and “Oh, Brother” Art: I Love the Walking Dead! I will read the comic and probably frame the picture! The comic (obviously) has a Loot Crate exclusive cover and I like how the art came with a cardboard backing to keep it from getting wrinkled. Nice touch!
I couldn’t get an exact price on the comic but I estimate it at $5, and the artwork I will give another $5 because it’s packaged nicely.
Random Filler: Ok the temp tattoos are awesome! Digital content is blah, button meh, and I don’t fully understand the “membership card” as if I could use it somewhere to get something… there is no mention of why it’s there.
Price $5 mostly for the temp tattoos.
Loot Crate “Fear” Magazine: The 3d effects are actually very good on this one. Normally I browse them then toss them but this one’s a keeper!
And there you have the October “Fear” Loot Crate. I have to say there is an excess of “paper” goods in this one, however, they are actually decent so I am not complaining.
The grand total of this box is about $45 for $20 shipped and I’ve just renewed Loot Crate for another 3 months because they just keep getting better.
