Wait what? Yes that’s right yet another geek subscription box! As I had mentioned in previous posts I got the motherload of boxes coming in this month and Geek Me Box was another one I’ve found around the net. Check out the unboxing video:

Like the others, Geek Me Box will run you $30 shipped. (discounts applied if you subscribe for multiple months at once) and they boast a shirt guaranteed in the box every month. Other than that I had no idea what to expect because they aren’t as big as the “other guys”.

So lets get down to business:

First up is the Adventure Time Pencil Tin

At first glance I was unimpressed. My tin is dented and the pencils aren’t full size… but check out the character erasers… those are awesome! And as a whole… this set isn’t actually that bad.

I found them on Amazon for $19.84 however, that was in a sealed package and this came loose… making me think that maybe they got a “scratch and dent” discount on them.

Next we have the Deadpool Bank

Even though I am not a fan of Deadpool (that may change with more exposure to him) I can certainly appreciate this bad ass bank! It seems to be pretty well made and detailed …for a bank. the kids love it and he is already been filled with the pennies from their old not-so-bad-ass piggy bank lol.

I found this bad boy on Amazon for $13.81 yes as expensive as $252 (smh)

Next is the Exploded NES Game T-shirt (Metroid)

Something tells me this shirt isn’t officially licensed lol… I’m a big fan of Metroid er excuse me “Intergalactic Bounty Hunter” so this was pretty cool. The design itself is a little awkward looking as though its off balance somehow but it’s still cool and I’ve already worn it.

As always I give T-shirts a $10 value

Finally, we have the Marvel Iron Man Mini Figure

His no nonsense “talk to the hand” pose says it all! He’s small and sits on a stand… he could have been a skateboard or shooting disc so I’m glad I got the Iron Man figure.

I couldn’t find a reliable link but they sell for about $3.50

And that folks, was the Geek Me Box for September 2014. Overall I am pretty impressed with the stuff we got and will continue my subscription for another month. This month’s total was $47.15 for a $30 box… it seems to me the items have questionable origins (i.e. no packaging) but we will just have to wait and see what next month brings.
