September is a big month for geeky subscription boxes! I have a total of 6 to review this month, make sure you check out my home page for all of the selections. Today I have one of the newest boxes I’ve found on the internet: My Geeky Goodies. So new, in fact that this is only their second box! So how did they do? Well check it out for yourself:

Pretty awesome eh? Yeah I thought so too! Let’s take a closer look at what we got:

my geeky goodies

First up we have …my entire childhood mashed up onto a T-shirt. Out of any geek shirt I have ever got in any box… this one tops them all!! Upon closer inspection after the filming of the video I was able to identify all of the characters on this shirt… can you??

I always value a t-shirt at $10. Even though it’s an exclusive item and they can claim any value they please, you can pretty much pick up a similar type shirt from anywhere for around ten bucks.

The Mordecai Pop Vinyl was not a big hit with my son… only because he doesn’t like the show. Me, on the other hand, I love Funko Pop Vinyls and they are ALWAYS a welcome addition to any geek box. They’re collectable, they’re a good size, and they have real value to me as something I would actually spend money on. Mordecai isn’t my first choice and he looks a bit funny as a Pop figure but I’m still very happy with this item. On a side note MGG states that they will always have either a Pop Vinyl or T-shirt in every box… SCORE!

If you want one of your own I found him for sale on Amazon for $9.23 <-affiliate link 🙂

Next we have ANOTHER Funko item. A TMNT Mystery Mini …we got Krang! This is too cool… again I feel like MGG really knows exactly what I want! He is still pretty big for being a “mini”, I’d ballpark him at 3″ tall.

I found them on Amazon for $9.29 making this box already paid off and then some.

We also got the Adventure Time Lumpy Space Princess & Brad figures. My son loves this show so (as you could see on the video) he was happy to get these. He doesn’t really play with action figures but likes to have them sit on his computer desk “on display” …I have no idea where he got that from 😉 On a side note Brad doesn’t stand on his own at all, his little feet wont hold him.

I was also able to find this on Amazon for $12.30 …making this a really good value!

And finally the exclusive Guardians mash-up picture. Unlike some of the other boxes that include printed material… this was printed on a thick card stock paper keeping it wrinkle free and it doesn’t feel like a cheap throwaway print. Its hard to price an item like this but we’ll give them $1 for it seeing as it has the logo printed on it for advertising.

The grand total for this box is $41.82 worth of product for just $25. This is also the first box we have received where I’ve liked every single item inside and felt that they really knew what I wanted. So congrats to My Geeky Goodies for earning my continued business!! I cant wait for next months.

This post contains affiliate links – trust me I’m not making a living off of it
